I sometimes wonder how much it's changing my reading habits, and if I'd be happier just doing whatever and not having to worry about reviewing or content or any sort of obligations.
But I know that
a) that's just the lazy and/or fed-up me talking
b)I'd miss it. Sharing and getting feedback and the sense of accomplishment, and the ability to look back on what I read and what I thought about what I read -- all that would go away, and I would regret that.Mistyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11436497955518156688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-428577181594967935.post-14467006619239215952011-01-31T19:45:33.507-08:002011-01-31T19:45:33.507-08:00I haven't, but I could see considering it if m...I haven't, but I could see considering it if my "real life" got too busy. Sometimes it can be stressful/a chore to make sure there are posts scheduled, so that the blog looks busy and to keep people interested. But I think that's the only reason I would even consider it. When it comes down to it creating a blog should be for yourself, so you can post whatever you want, whenever you want, how often, etc. I would never let the politics of it all stop me.Ashley @ Book Labyrinthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02395484656811182553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-428577181594967935.post-30180882382201006712011-01-31T19:38:50.608-08:002011-01-31T19:38:50.608-08:00I've been thinking about this lately and just ...I've been thinking about this lately and just posting my reviews on Goodreads. The thought of having to write all those posts and keep the blog active gets a little overwhelming sometimes, and I just think "Why am I doing this?! It only causes me stress!" Then I just remind myself that it's my blog and I can post much I want/am able to, it's not a job and no one will fire me if I don't do it.Ren @ All By Myshelfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12036694019398607382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-428577181594967935.post-59844292875467959252011-01-31T14:08:33.992-08:002011-01-31T14:08:33.992-08:00Oh yeah, all the time. My life was kind of crazy and I couldn't get the motivation to review or even read other blogs.
