Reviewing books:
I am currently accepting some review requests, but not very many, as my "review pile" is giant. When I do accept a book, it doesn't mean that the book will be getting a completely positive review. I try to weigh the positives and negatives of any book that I review, but my opinion is my opinion and I will always openly express it.
I try my very best to review books in a timely manner, and will review books that have/will be released soon over ones that won't. However, if you would like your book reviewed close to a certain date please let me know and I will do my best to review it close to that date. Also, keep in mind that I have many, many books at the moment so it is increasingly difficult to keep up with their release date.

When I get a book to review, it does not come with the promise of a book review--especially if I was not notified before receiving the book. If I requested the book, then they will definitely be getting a review. If I was asked to review it in advance, then I will try my very best to review it. I include every book I receive in my "In My Mailbox" posts, so your book will be getting some coverage on my blog no matter what.

Ratings: I rate a book based on the writing, characters, plot, ending, and overall enjoyment of the novel. My rating system is as follows:
5 Stars: Amazing! I loved it!
4 1/2 Stars: Wow, that was really good!
4 Stars: That was good. I'm impressed!
3 1/2 Stars: It was good.
3 Stars: It was OK....
2 1/2 Stars: Tolerable. Not my cup of tea.
2 Stars: Probably finished, but barely. Wouldn't recommend.
1 1/2 Stars: Didn't finish. Don't read it.
1 Star: OMG RUN!
Also: I also post my reviews on Shelfari and Goodreads, and can post the reviews other places if requested.
I do not sell ARCs, but may use them for giveaways or trades. If this bothers you, please let me know.
Guest Posts and Interviews:
I would be happy to promote authors by interviewing them, having them post a guest post, or participating in a blog tour. I would prefer to have a copy of the author's work to go along with the post, though it's not a requirement. I don't host freelance writers.
Giveaways:
I would be happy to host a giveaway for your book. It must be YA, and something I feel my readers will be interested in reading.
