This book was being called "the next Twilight" before it's release date, and already has a movie adaption in the works. It's also a book that I REALLY want to read.
I love it! It's so beautiful. I'm a sucker for leaf-less trees, and I love the blue backround. My complaint? I don't like how it's washed out towards the bottom. Maybe it's a metaphor or something...but I don't like it. What do you think?
Too sissy for my taste. It doesn't say anything about the story, except that it probably won't have any action. The title and font are also too chicky for me. It doesn't really make me want to read it.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I don't like how it's washed out at the bottom either!
ReplyDeleteYes, Dahlia, I guess it doesn't look much like an action book, now that I think about it.
ReplyDeleteHey Jessica :) I'm reading this now- It's not really actiony, I mean, no one's getting BLOWN UP or having their pinky toes cut off or w/e, if THAT's what you mean... But it's a fanastic book and I thought it looked a little too chick-litty and Lurlene McDaniel-ish. It really isn't. It totally changed my view of life. Omigod, that sounds like such sentimental crap. Sorry :P -Meggin, serendipityreviews.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHi, I like your blog :)
ReplyDeleteThe Reader's Rights is a good idea- where'd you get it from?
-Kelsie =D
Meggin: Yes, this is a book that I've been dying to read for a while. It looks great. I'm glad you're enjoying!
ReplyDeleteKelsie: I actually got it off of Meggin's blog (the link's on her comment). I'm glad you like it, I do most of these with books, especially: The right to fall in love with characters in books. :)
I love this cover too - it's so simple and eye-catching :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a little chicky and doesn't say anything about the story, but I like the scrawl and the colors are nice.
ReplyDeleteHmm I don't think this is exactly my kind of book >.<
ReplyDeleteHello there! I've got a present for you at my blog! Does that sound creepy? O_o?
