New Library Books!

I have a tons of books that I own just begging me to read them. But, so is just about every book in the library. And if I keep getting library books, then there's no time to read books I own. But I can't stop getting library books. My mom calls it my "disease." I told her that the next time we went to the library, I COULD NOT get any more books. So, here's what I got:

Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink
Cirque Du Freak: A Living Nightmare by Darren Shan (Book 1)
Ninth Grade Slays: The Chronicles of Vladmir Tod by Heather Brewer (Book 2)
Newes From The Dead by Mary Hooper
Kissing Coffins: Vampire Kisses Book 2 by Ellen Schreiber (I wasn't a fan of the first one, but I've heard so many people rave about the series that I decided to give Book 2 a try.)

It's a disease. But these are the last books that I'm getting from the library that aren't already on hold...seriously.

  1. I do the same thing.
What can I say: I have to have a variety to choose from.

  2. I don't go to my library. They don't have anything I would like to read. So my problem is that I go to the bookstore and buys books all the time and if I can't make it to the store, I get them shipped to me.

Even though I have stacks of my own books to read, I still go to the library at least once week. I can't help it! You got some great books- I checked out Prophecy of the Sisters from my library yesterday, too- can't wait to read it!

  6. Nice selection! I'm reading the Prophecy of the Sisters right now. It's kind of creeping me out, but in that really good way. =D

  10. I'm right there with you. I used to go to the library and tell myself I'm only going to get like 3 books and then an hour later my dad would be yelling at me to hurry up and I'd have like 13 books! :)

Cirque De Freak looks good! Can't wait to read your review.

  13. I'm sorry to disappoint, but the first one ain't much better than the second one, it has been one of the few series I stopped reading.

The only plus thing is that a new character is introduced, but still, its for a much younger crowd.

And good on POTS!!! Thats the first one you should read!

  14. Thanks Kelsey!!

Taschima: Really? Crap. I'll still try it I guess, but if it was only as the first one, then I won't be finishing the series either. You're right, it does seem to be aimed at a younger crowd...
