In My Mailbox (24)

I haven't done one of these in forever! Probably because I haven't been having very good book weeks lately. But if you combine a few weeks of books, then it's not too bad. So, here are the books I got in the mail. Mad props to The Story Siren for hosting the meme.

For review:
Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness
Fire Will Fall by Carol Plum-Ucci
Crank & Glass boxed set by Ellen Hopkins (Not pictured above cause I'm a dork.)

Won:
The Forest of Hands and Teeth & The Dead Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan (Signed)
Gifted by Marilyn Kaye

Won from RandomBuzzers:
The Cardturner by Louis Sachar

Bought:
Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkes (Mom actually got this one. But I'll probably steal it eventually.)
Moongazer by Marianne Mancusi
Raising Dragons by Bryan Davis (Signed)
Starlighter by Bryan Davis (Signed)
Beyond the Reflection's Edge by Bryan Davis (I'm sure you guessed it: Signed.)

I'm still (impatiently) waiting for a package. Hopefully it will be here Tuesday!

  2. Just finished "Monsters of Men". Wow. Exhausting and exhilirating. Can't understand why this series is not getting the play that "Hunger Games" is. Far superior.

  4. Great books this week. I have a few of them on my TBR list, but I have to say that I like the cover of the hardcover version of The Forset of Hands and Teeth better... Of course that really has nothing to do with the book itself.
    Happy reading!

  9. Wow you got quite a lot of books this week. I recently saw Sachar and read Cardturner, which I enjoyed. Hope you enjoy The Forest of Hands and Teeth, I love the writing but the book was so dark and depressing I haven't gotten into Dead Tossed Waves yet.
