In My Mailbox (36), a Winner, and a NaNo Update

Let's start with what I got in my mailbox this week, because it's pretty awesome:

 For review:
The Lost Saint by Bree Despain (YAY!)
Afterlife by Claudia Gray

Huge, huge thanks to EgmontUSA/Goodman Media and Harperteen.

Won:
Nightshade by Andrea Cremer (HUZZAH! My review for this is here, and my interview with Andrea here.)

Bought (because Goodwill is cool):
Stargazer by Claudia Gray
Pucker by Melanie Gideon

Told you it was a good book week! And now, for the winner of Manifest, as chosen by random.org. It is...

Mishel

I'll be emailing you in just a minute!

NaNoWriMo update: I'm sucking. I'm way under what my word count should be, simply because it seems like I have no time to write. I leave the house just about everyday for most of the day, then come home, do homework, and THEN try to squeeze in as much writing as possible. Currently, my word count is a lousy 4,740. But I'm not giving up. I'm gonna go read some of the pep-talks the NaNo team's been sending me, then write as much as I can.

  8. Good luck with NaNoWriMo! I'm doing it too- so far I'm off to a good start (about 10,000 words) but I'm worried once this week kicks in I'll fall behind.

I hope you have a good experience and write as much as you can! :D
