Waiting On Wednesday

This week I'm waiting on...

"It happens every year. A list is posted, and one girl from each grade is chosen as the prettiest, and another is chosen as the ugliest."

"Then Taylor's dad gets devastating news that changes everything. Her parents decide that the family will spend the summer together at their old vacation home in the Pocono Mountains."

"Behind the wheel of her car, with Grayson asleep beside her, Kendra decides to drive away from it all -- with enough distance, maybe she'll be able to figure everything out."

"Only when Rosie tells her mother's best friend, "Aunt Sarah," that she is going to test for the disease does Sarah, a midwife, reveal that Trudie wasn't her real mother after all. Rosie was swapped at birth with a sickly baby who was destined to die."

(I'm not even sorry that they're all contemporaries.)

  1. I am very excited for all four of these, especially Second Chance Summer. Nice WOW choices, Jessica! :)

  2. I have to add The List to my reading list! It sounds like it is full of fabulous :)

    Happy reading!

  3. Um . . . what exactly DOES contemporary mean?

  4. I am not much of an YA reader buy Someone Else's Life caught my attention. I will but that one my hopeful list.

  5. Someone Else's Life is one I'm really wanting as well. I like the way you did the more books thing!

  6. Someone else's life sounds interesting.

  7. Elizabeth--Contemporary means real life stories set in modern times. It's also sometimes called realistic fiction.
