Top Books of 2012 So Far

I cannot believe we're halfway through 2012! I feel like I've hardly read anything... Or done anything else, for that matter... But anyways. Here are my favorite books that I've read from the past six months.

Paper Towns by John Green
Grave Mercy be Robin LaFevers

The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart
Spell Bound by Rachel Hawkins

Something Like Normal by Trish Doller
Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler

When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serle

What are your favorites of 2012 so far?

  1. I really want to read Grave Mercy because I've heard such great things about it! My favorites so far are Cinder, Fair Game (part of the Mercy Thompson series, Insurgent (#2 of Divergent), and Bitterblue (#3 of Graceling). If you haven't read Graceling, I suggest picking it up. It's one of my favorites of the last few years.

    1. I haven't read Graceling yet, but I definitely need to pick it up soon. With all the Bitterblue excitement I keep seeing people talk about it more and more. Also, I cannot WAIT to read Insurgent, despite the mixed things I've heard about it.

  2. Grace Mercy is on my TBR pile hopefully for this month but I've heard amazing things about it.

So far my favorites of 2012 would be Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore, Shift AND Shine by Jeri Smith-Ready, Boy 21 by Matthew Quick, Fever by Lauren DeStefano, The Last Echo by Kimberly Derting, The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson, Spellbound by Rachel Hawkins [so sad this series is over!], Wanderlove by Kristen Hubbard, Timepiece by Myra McEntire and Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown.

    1. I hope you love it! It's soooo good.

Wow, you've got a long list. Wanderlove was really awesome too! Nearly made it onto my list. I've heard rumors about a Hex Hall spin-off series...not sure who the new main character would be though. Fingers crossed!
